Paul Alexandro has won Best Leading Actor at the St. Tropez International Film Festival for his role as Peter Grecco in the feature film, 3:13 Homeless movie.

The drama based on true events, depicts Paul’s character from living a normal life to surviving homelessness in the city of Miami. The film was directed by his brother David Jaure, who also received the award for Best Director.

Paul’s acceptance speech was brief and emotive, he thanked his brother for making him a better actor as well as his family. But he mainly emphasized the appreciation for creating awareness in trying to solve this critical social issue which is homelessness.
“Receiving validation for ones work while creating awareness in our solidary effort to help end homelessness is the reward”, Alexandro said after receiving the award.

Immediately after, David Jaure received his award and delivered a heartfelt speech which received a standing ovation.

The two brothers now travel to the Big Island Film Festival in Hawaii to continue their festival run.
